About the Role
Responsible for developing accurate 3D rebar models in Revit, producing shop drawings and schedules, and coordinating reinforcement layouts to meet design, constructability, and project standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate 3D rebar models in Revit in accordance with US standards and design drawings
- Produce rebar shop drawings, placing drawings, and bar bending schedules (BBS)
- Coordinate rebar layouts with concrete geometry, embeds, post-tensioning, and openings
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts with other disciplines
- Ensure models and drawings comply with AASHTO / ACI requirements and project BIM standards
- Support RFIs and design coordination with engineers and stakeholders
Qualifications
- 1Degree or diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or related discipline
- 2Proven experience in 3D rebar modelling using Revit
- 3Good understanding of US codes and standards (ACI, AASHTO)
- 4Ability to produce rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules
- 5Experience with clash detection and coordination in BIM environments
- 6Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and constructability
